Your Days Here

Everything starts at the end of the dock

Some guests never leave the property — there is a pool, a gym, a cinema and a dock with boards on it. Others use Villa 61 as a base and are on a catamaran to the outer islands by nine in the morning. Both are easy from here.

Without Leaving Home

At the villa

The villa's private dock stretching into the lake

Out on the water

Surfboards, kayaks and a foil board are yours for the length of your stay — the only villa on Naisoso that provides them. Walk down the lawn, take what you want, go.

Bring the boat

There is moorage at the dock directly in front of the villa, so you can keep a boat tied up and head out whenever the day suits. Fishing rods are here too.

The long pool looking out over the water

Pool, hot tub & long lunches

A pool that runs the length of the terrace, a hot tub beside it, a BBQ, and a timber table big enough for everyone. Most afternoons go no further than this.

Home cinema area with projector screen and lounges

Film nights

A projector screen, a sound system and lounges enough for the whole group — the easy answer to a rainy hour or a late evening with tired children.

Gym equipment set up under cover looking over the lake

Keep the routine

Cross-trainer, spin bike and weights under cover, with the lake in front of you. A better view than the gym at home, at any rate.

Sunset on the terrace

The upstairs terrace runs the width of the house and faces the water. Rainbows over the mangroves are a regular event; so are the sunsets.

Explore Nadi & Beyond

Beyond the island

Naisoso sits fifteen minutes from Port Denarau and the whole western coast of Viti Levu — close enough that a day trip never eats the day.

Denarau & the outer islands

From Port Denarau, catch a catamaran to the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands for snorkelling, diving and white-sand day-trips. Roughly fifteen minutes by car.

🤿

Diving & snorkelling

Fiji is the soft coral capital of the world. Operators run daily trips from Denarau, from first-time discovery dives to full certification.

🛕

Culture & temples

Visit the colourful Sri Siva Subramaniya temple, browse Nadi town's handicraft shops, or join a traditional Fijian village tour and kava ceremony.

🌋

Mud pools & hot springs

The Sabeto mud pools and the Garden of the Sleeping Giant sit at the foot of the mountains — an easy, and very Fijian, half-day.

Golf & spa

Championship golf and resort spas at Denarau are close by for a relaxed round or a pampering afternoon.

🍽️

Dining & markets

Marina restaurants, Nadi's famous produce market and local eateries are all a short drive — plus supermarkets minutes away for self-catering.

Plan Your Own

The official guide to Fiji

Tourism Fiji's website is the best place to browse tours, operators and experiences across the islands and book them directly. Everything from a half-day reef trip to a week island-hopping is listed there.

Prefer a hand? Sam and his family live on the island and know the operators personally — tell us what you'd like to do and we'll point you to the right people, or arrange it for you before you land.
